About
I like water.. I like to swim in it, I like to fish in it, I like to sail, row, and kayak on it… I like to dive underwater… but more importantly I like clean water .. because I depend on it for drinking and hygiene.
In my lifetime, the world’s population has more than doubled. Today there are over 6 billion people on earth and more than one billion do not have access to clean water on a daily basis. The world faces an enormous challenge to provide adequate water resources for our growing population and at the same time sustain the water-intensive needs of developed and emerging countries.
I started this blog to learn more about water and share the information with a broader audience. This blog will explore some of the cultural, economic, political, and technological issues relating to the global water problem. Mahalo, John Hacunda
